Change is never easy, but it’s always inevitable. Everything changes, but with this book guess what? You are the driving force for that change, instead of waiting for it to arrive, for it to be thrust upon you, YOU are going to decide when, what and how.
Kate Gregory can hear people’s thoughts. It is something she had learnt to hide. One day she hears something that may threaten the life of a child. Now she has a dilemma. To save the child does she tell people of her ability…
Over the years Jackie Lawson, to help her deal with her failing marriage, has developed a growing dependency on alcohol, but when she tries to tackle the problem past secrets lap at the corners of her memory and threaten her conservative lifestyle.
This is a book based on personal experience. The author had a challenging childhood and developed some unusual behaviour methods to cope – she levitated at four, began meditating at thirteen and as a last resort would often leave her body.
I have had a passion for writing since I was a child. I adore stories in any format: films, theatre, drama, but my first love is books.
I love the fact that the author is only a part of the story, and that the reader brings all their experiences, judgements and life lessons to bear on what is being read. They read the words and create the reality of the story, weaving themselves in with the words to bring the book to life. It’s magical, truly magical.
All my fiction books are based in the North East and most of my covers feature the North East. In short, I am proud to be a North East writer.
I write gritty thrillers, putting ordinary people into extraordinary circumstances, because I love to see what happens. Often my characters surprise me and that’s when I know…magic does exist!
I feel terribly privileged to be able to pursue my dream and write all day. I aim to write interesting books that people enjoy and occasionally, just occasionally, inspire someone.
I hope you enjoy reading them as much as I enjoy writing them, and I’d love to hear your feedback.
